VISA REQUIREMENTS

ACCORDING TO THE NEW VISA REGULATION PROCEDURE ENTERS INTO THE FORCE SEPTEMBER 10, 2011:

introduces three classes of visas:

1.  Transit visa (VB), which will allow transit through the territory of Ukraine within the period of 5 days. Travellers can apply for one entry, two entries, as well as multiple entries within the period of one year. On the basis of reciprocity the Consular fee for the Transit visa will be $140.   

2.  Short-term visa (VC), which will allow stay in Ukraine for less than 90 days within 180 days starting from the first entry to Ukraine. This visa will be issued as a one-entry, two-entries and multiple-entries valid for the period of up to 5 years.  On the basis of reciprocity consular fee for the short-term visa will be $ 140.   

3.  Long-term one-entry visa (VD), which could be issued for applicants entering Ukraine with the purpose of obtaining documents permitting stay in Ukraine for the period of longer than 90 days. Within 45 days from the moment of entry to Ukraine a holder of long-term one-entry visa should apply to relevant authorities in Ukraine for a permanent/temporary residence permit. Consular fee will be $ 794 for job placement visas, $ 404 for permanent residence visas and $ 379 for all other purposes.

PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT UKRAINE INTRODUCED A VISA FREE REGIME FOR CITIZENS OF THE COUNTRIES OF EUROPEAN UNION , U.S.A., CANADA, JAPAN, SWITZERLAND, NORWAY, SAN MARINO, MONACO, ICELAND, VATICAN, ANDORRA, LIECHTENSTEIN AND REPUBLIC OF KOREA, WHO MAY STAY IN UKRAINE WITHOUT VISAS UP TO 90 DAYS.

A passport valid for six months beyond the planned date of travel is required.
For citizens of the above mentioned countries who enter Ukraine with the purpose of employment, permanent residency, study and work at the diplomatic missions of the above mentioned countries in Ukraine or with any other purpose if they are going to stay in Ukraine for more than 90 days, visas are still required.

No visas are required for citizens of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (except Turkmenistan).

ALL APPLICATION PAPERS MUST BE CORRECTLY AND COMPLETELY FILLED OUT (as well as a proper payment attached). FAILURE TO COMPLY OR PROVIDING INCORRECT OR MISLEADING INFORMATION WILL RESULT IN THE RETURN OF THE APPLICATION UNPROCESSED.
